Where’s Raja? Meet The Representatives Casting Votes When Raja Plays Hooky
Schaumburg, IL – Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi has made a habit of voting by proxy, also known as not showing up to work. In the last year alone, well after COVID-19 vaccines and boosters were widely available, Congressman Krishnamoorthi has voted by proxy 15 times.
Krishnamoorthi claims he is an ‘independent Democrat,’ but his record, and that of the people he has had vote in his stead, shows that to be false.
So who is voting on legislation for the constituents of the 8th Congressional District? Let’s meet them.
