Schaumburg, IL – It’ s been a tough week for Raja Krishnamoorthi. First, a poll is released showing the 8th District Race, a district Joe Biden won by 15 points in 2020, is within 6 points. It’s a stunning development that shows the impact of Rep. Krishnamoorthi’s 100% voting record with Joe Biden.

Krishnamoorthi also voted in favor of a tax hike on every family making less than $400,000, including $16.7 billion in 2023 for individuals making less than $200,000. If that wasn’t enough, the vote also established an army of 87,000 IRS agents to enforce these new tax hikes. The Inflation Creation Act will have little to no impact on inflation, its purported purpose, instead increasing spending at a time when families are worried about the impact rising costs will have on their budgets.

Krishnamoorthi’s vote for this bill wasn’t even cast by him, instead ceding his vote to Colorado Rep. Joe Neguse so he could make the rounds on MSNBC within hours of the bill’s passage. With hundreds of daily flights from Chicago to Washington DC, why did Krishnamoorthi choose to have a representative from Colorado vote for the 8th District of Illinois?
