Schaumburg, IL – Do you think your tax dollars should be used to pay for campaign-style mail? That’s exactly what Raja Krishnamoorthi is doing with your tax dollars. As if hiking taxes to pay for 87,000 new IRS agents wasn’t enough, now Raja Krishnamoorthi is sending campaign-style mail touting his “accomplishments” as a politician.
These mail pieces came in envelopes marked “Paid for by official funds approved by the House of Representatives.” And there are more than just these. Congressman Krishnamoorthi has had taxpayers subsidize at least 4 separate mail pieces in the last month.
It’s convenient that this taxpayer-funded politicking doesn’t mention that he votes with Joe Biden 100% of the time, hiked your taxes, and supports every inflation-driving piece of legislation from the Biden White House, making everything you purchase more expensive.
Chris Dargis released the following statement: “Everything from groceries to medicine is more expensive because of the reckless spending policies Raja Krishnamoorthi supported, and yet he thinks it’s a valuable use of taxpayer dollars to send campaign mail to your homes. This is not only deceptive, it is flat out wrong. We need to cut government spending, not use taxpayer dollars to promote yourself. Raja, you should be ashamed.”
