Schaumburg, IL – To close out his 2022 campaign for Illinois’s 8th Congressional District, Chris Dargis took his campaign directly to the voters. He spent the final weekend of the campaign knocking doors, visiting local businesses, and speaking directly with the people that will be casting their votes this Tuesday to elect new leadership and send a problem solver to Washington.

Raja Krishnamoorthi has proven he will put Washington ahead of the people of this district over his 6 years in Congress. While families and businesses are struggling with record high inflation and energy costs, Krishnamoorthi voted for tax hikes on the middle class, increased spending that adds fuel to the inflation fire, and traveled to Asia with Nancy Pelosi rather than come back to the district and speak with the people he is supposed to represent.

Chris Dargis, Republican Candidate in the 8th District, released the following statement on the final day before Election Day:

“This election comes down to a simple choice: send a problem solver to Washington or reelect a Washington Politician who has consistently put his political advancement ahead of the people of this district, voting with the Biden-Pelosi agenda 100% of the time. I will be a representative that puts the interests of our constituents first, while my opponent Raja Krishnamoorthi will continue to advocate for DC special interests. Are you better off than you were 2 years ago? If not, it’s time to send a career problem solver, not another politician, to Congress.”
