439 Murders To Date in Chicago, Yet Krishnamoorthi Takes Victory Lap on Middle Class Tax Hike
Schaumburg, IL – Crime in our state remains a top concern for Illinois families, with a recent survey showing fears among Illinoisans that they will fall victim to crime topping national averages across the board. The violent crime rate continues to outpace the national average, and State’s Attorneys around the state warn that things will get worse when the SAFE-T act is implemented in January. Meanwhile, Congressman Krishnamoorthi shows no effort to address these concerns, instead globetrotting with Nancy Pelosi and promoting Biden’s latest $1.3 Trillion in spending over the last month, including their tax hike on middle class families.
Chris Dargis released the following statement: “The people of the 8th District don’t need more investigations into UFOs or the Washington Football Team. They need their representative to take action to address out of control crime, to rein in energy costs, and lower the cost of living we’re facing each day. With crime on the rise, we need leaders who will work to pass legislation to keep us safe.”
